Sanne Mortensen - Physiotherapist

Sanne Mortensen is Danish and lived in Denmark until she was 19 years old, when she went travelleling. Here she met her future English husband, Ben and they settled down in Sheffield, England in 1997.

She then started on her physiotherapy degree at the School of Health and Social Care at Sheffield Hallam University. She qualified in 2001 and achieved a first-class degree in BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy. She is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and in Spain is she fully registered with the Ilustre Colegio de Fisioterapeutas de Andalucia. Sanne has years of experience in the private sector as well as the National Health Service in the UK and has worked for several years in Spain in both Spanish and ex-pat clinics. She is extremely experienced in all musculo-skeletal conditions and injuries, such as low back pain, road traffic accidents, arthritis, ligament tears, impingments, tendinitis, sprains, strains, fractures, muscle imbalances etc as well as post-operative rehabilitation after all joint operations, such as arthroscopies, replacements, corrective orthopaedic surgery and spinal surgery.

Her main interests are cycling, hiking (dog lover) and spending time with friends and family.

Sanne speaks Danish, English, Spanish and German.
